Nile Holiday professional tour guide will pick you up from your hotel in Cairo or Giza to drive to visit the famous Camel Market at Birqash, a small village northwest of Cairo. You will enjoy a unique experience while seeing merchants buying and selling camels in auctions inside the market, and watch the traders negotiating and making deals. People from every social standard and also traders go there to get a relatively cheap and guaranteed healthy meat. Also foreign tourists from all over the world come to this famous market, because they are keen after watching the Pharaonic monuments to see the largest gathering of camels (the ship of the desert). At the end of your tour you will be transferred back to your hotel.

NB: It’s not for the faint of heart – many traders treat the camels with intense cruelty – but it’s a very local experience. Hundreds of camels are sold here every market day, with the liveliest action between 7am and 10am.

– In case of pick up from either Heliopolis or 06th of October Areas, there is a supplement of $10 per person would apply.
