Egypt Climate
Mostly Egyptian Climate can be divided into 3 types:
- Northern Coast : Mediterranean Tropical
- Inland Egypt : Hot Desert
- Red Sea Coast : Sub-Tropical
Under Mediterranean tropical, areas like Alexandria, Marsa Matrouh etc. are few wonders of Egypt that are even sought after in Egypt. The Egyptian Weather is between pleasant and hot during summer and mild in winter. The region receives the most rain in Egypt, hail and sleet fall rarely in winter. Snowfalls occur in some inland towns and locations.
Under Hot Egypt Desert Climate, areas like Cairo, Aswan, and Luxor of Egypt are well known. The weather is always sunny and clear. During summer, it is unusually hot and dry. And nights are equally cold.
Under Sub-Tropical, Egypt has areas like Marsa Alam, Hurghada, Safaga etc. that are legendary. The climate here is tempered by the sea. Since rainfall is scarce, the humidity is generally higher. But sea winds affect that too. No doubt making it tourist-magnet all year round.
The best and worst part of Egypt Climate is Khamaseen, the hot, dry wind that flows from the south deserts and blows in the spring or in the early summer. These storms make the hot day extremely hot whereas stops temperature from falling down at night beyond measures.
P.S.: Sinai is the one place which sees the Best Of Egypt Climate. It’s either Mediterranean tropical or subtropical. Also, frost can be seen here. Therefore, it is visited all year round.
