At the morning, your private guide and driver will pick you up from your hotel in Cairo or Giza and transfer to El Minya (almost 4 hours drive). Arrive El-Minya and start to visit the city’s site, including Tuna El Gabal village where you can see the tomb of Petosiris, Ibis catacombs and Tomb and chapel of Isadora (This tomb goes back to the 2nd century AD and belongs to Isadora the renown for her beauty in the city of Hermopolis).

Proceeds to El Ashmunein, a provincial capital since the old Kingdom of ancient Egypt, to the Roman period in Egypt. It was the main center of worship of the Ibis-headed god Thoth. Today, the ruins of a Greek temple, similar to the Parthenon, can be still found. Lunch will be served at a local restaurant in El Minya, then transfer to your hotel & Overnight

Breakfast at your hotel in el Minya and then your tour guide will escort you to Beni Hassan; where you can see the rock-cut tombs of 11th- and 12th-dynasty officials of the province. Bakhet III tomb (Bakhet III was the Governor of the Oryx Nome), Khnumhotep tomb (Khnumhotep was a governor under Amenemhat III in the 12th dynasty) and Khety tomb (It belongs to a governor in the 11th dynasty).

Continue to Tell el-Amarna, the ruins and tombs of the city of Akhetaton “Horizon of Aton”. It was built by Akhenaton (Amenhotep IV) about 1348 BC as the new capital of his kingdom when he abandoned the worship of Amon and devoted himself to that of Aton. Where you can see the northern tombs among of which Ahmose tomb and Huya tomb. Lunch at a local restaurant. Later, drive back to your hotel in Cairo.
