At 06:00 am Nile Holiday representative will pick you up from your hotel in Cairo and transfer you to Minya (about 4 hours’ drive). Upon arrival at Minya you will visit the tombs at the Tell El Amarna contains the ruins of the city constructed by Akhenaton and ‎his wife Queen Nefertiti. The Pharaoh is known for his revolutionary religion that worshiped Aten.

Move on to visit Bani Hassan rock cut tombs dates back to the 11th- and 12th-dynasty. Beni Hassan Tombs are carved into the high limestone cliffs of the east bank of the Nile. The painted scenes depict the daily lives of the rulers and their families including scenes of desert hunting, weaving and spinning, fishing, country living, gathering crops and catching birds. You can see Bakhet tomb (Bakhet III was the Governor of the Oryx Nome), Khnumhotep tomb (Khnumhotep was a governor under Amenemhat III in the 12th dynasty ) and Khety tomb (It belongs to a governor in the 11th dynasty ). Enjoy late Lunch will be served in a good quality local restaurant in El Minya. Later on, you will be transferred back to your hotel in Cairo.
