Nile Holiday Egyptologist tour guide will pick you up from your hotel in Cairo / Giza to enjoy a fantastic off the beaten path tour to the Dahshur. Dahshur is about 40 km south west of Cairo. The site is a famous royal necropolis in Egypt holds many famous Pyramids of king Snefru. You will visit two of the oldest, largest and best preserved Pyramids in Egypt, Red Pyramid and Bent Pyramid, built from 2613 to 2589 BC.

Then proceed to Memphis which was founded by King Menes and was the first capital of Egypt during the Old Kingdom. It was considered to be a center of rule and culture for over 3000 years, and see the Statue of Ramses II and the Alabaster Sphinx of Memphis.

Lunch will be served at a local restaurant, before moving on to enjoy an excursion to visit the Step Pyramid of Zoser, the world’s oldest major stone structure. It was built in the 3rd Dynasty (around 2630 BC) for King Djoser. The step pyramid is considered to be the earliest large-scale cut stone construction made by man.
