Nile holiday representative will pick you up from your hotel and transfer you to attend al tannoura Egyptian heritage dance troupe show at Wekalet El Ghoury, which is an architecturally stunning arts center in El Azhar area in Central Cairo, operating under the Ministry of Culture and the Cultural Development.

The Al-Tannoura shows that takes place at Wekalet El Ghoury Each Saturday, Monday and Wednesday. The show lasts almost an hour. So, we have to go early to secure the seats, because there are only 250 seats, available for all attendants. Food & drinks are NOT allowed into the theater though.

Firstly, enjoy local Egyptian musicians, playing selections of folkloric music, previewing the Egypt’s musical heritage. And then, comes al tanoura dance show. In addition to, the show ends with a very special spiritual whirling dervish (Darawish) performing arts.

The show is a very authentic experience that makes the majority of tourists visiting Egypt don’t bother seeing. For the photographers, one is about to go home with some amazing shots of the master of al Tanoura Dancers. Lastly, transfer back to your hotel in Cairo.
