Upon your arrival to Aswan, you will be met and assisted by a Nile Holiday representative, who will then transfer by an air-conditioned deluxe vehicle to visit the Aswan high Dam, the world’s largest embankment dam built across the Nile River between 1960 and 1970 to control the flooding, provide increased water storage for irrigation and generate hydroelectricity.
Enjoy a motorboat short ride to the beautiful Philae Temple complex, originally situated on the island of Philae. It was dismantled and moved to nearby Agilkia Island as part of the UNESCO Nubia Campaign project, to save it from the rising waters before the 1970 completion of the Aswan High Dam. The three principal monuments on the island all date from the Pharaonic, Ptolemaic and Roman periods — Temple of Nectanebo II, the Temple of Isis, the Temple of Hathor and the Kiosk of Trajan.
You’ll also visit the Unfinished Obelisk, commissioned by Queen Hatshepsut yet never completed due to a flaw discovered in the stone. If finished, it would have been the largest and heaviest obelisk ever attempted, with 42 metres long and weighing more than 1200 Tons. The unfinished obelisk offers unusual insights into ancient Egyptian stone-working techniques. After finished, transfer to your hotel in Aswan, Check in for 1 night and time to settle and relax

Early in the morning, your Egyptologist tour guide will pick you up to visit the most famous Abu Simbel temples were constructed by the Pharaoh Ramses II, one of Egypt’s most celebrated Kings. Abu Simbel sat on the west bank of the Nile River for 3,200 years. Once arriving on site, your guide will give you a history of the temple. Afterwards, take time to marvel at the exquisite detail as you wander through the temples yourself. You will then transfer back to Aswan, followed by a transfer to Aswan Airport for final departure.
NB: Your flight has to be after 14:00 to be able to do this tour.
