Nile Holiday representative will pick you up from your hotel in Aswan to enjoy a trip to the Temple of Kalabsha, located to the west of Lake Nasser. Enjoy motor boat ride to reach Kalabsha Temple which has been dismantled and re-erected to a site, located just south of the Aswan High Dam. This temple was originally built by Toutmosis II and Amenhotep II (1427–1401 BC), at Kalabsha, 40 miles south of Aswan, and was restored during the early Roman era around 30 BC. It was dedicated to Mandulis (Merul) a Lower Nubian sun god but was never finished.
Move on to visit the Nubian museum inaugurated in 1997, home to almost three thousand pieces of Egyptian antiquities, representing various ages; Geological, Pharaonic, Roman, Coptic and Islamic. This museum takes its name from the ancient Egyptian Nbu, meaning gold, in reference to the area’s famous gold mines Moreover; you will enjoy scenes of Nubian life demonstrated with a range of life-size displays.
After finished, you will then be transferred back to your hotel in Aswan
