You will be pick up from Safaga Port by the cruise exit door and drive to Luxor by air-conditioned modern vehicle (almost 03:00 hours’ drive), Then start your day tour by visiting Karnak Temple, the largest religious building ever constructed in Egypt. It is a city of temples built over 2,000 years. Enjoy walking along the avenue of sphinxes, the obelisks. See the awesome Hypostyle Hall, housing 134 columns then walk to see the obelisks, great scarab beetle next to the sacred lake.
Enjoy Lunch at a good quality local restaurant, then move on to visit the West Bank of the river Nile, you will have a brief photo stop at the colossi of Memnon, marks the site of the funerary temple of Amenhotep III. Then you will visit the Valley of the Kings, the burial place of the ancient Egyptian pharaohs, visit 3 of these richly decorated tombs used as burial site during the new kingdom (1550 – 1080 BC. Whilst here, you can visit Tutankhamun and Ramses 6 tomb (extra ticket on spot).
Continue to explore the temple of Queen Hatshepsut at El Deir El Bahari. Hatshepsuit temple is one of the most beautiful temples in Egypt built at the bottom of al Qurn mountain cliff. After finished, transfer to your hotel in Luxor. Check in and free time to relax.
