Welcome to Cairo, Egypt. You’ll be met and assisted on arrival at Cairo International Airport, and transferred to your hotel. At hotel, you will be assisted with a smooth check-in and confirm pick-up times for each tour. The rest of the day is free to relax, or if you arrive early you may like to take and optional tour: An evening dinner cruise on the Nile, or enjoy a spectacular sound and light show at the pyramids (both available to book locally on arrival).

Breakfast at your hotel and then your Cairo Local Private tour Guide will accompany you to Giza Plateau. You will enjoy a fantastic introduction to the pyramids of Cheops, Chephren and Mycerinus. The Great Pyramid of Giza is the oldest of the Seven Wonders of the Ancient World, and the only one to remain largely intact. Whilst here, you will have the opportunity of going inside one of the pyramids (Extra ticket on spot). Move on to the best place to take photos of the pyramids. Then drive to visit the Valley temple and the great Sphinx.

Proceed to visit Memphis, the first capital of ancient Egypt. Memphis was the King’s residence and the political administrative center almost from 3100 B.C to 2100 BC. Today, there are little left in the oldest city but still can see the great colossus of Rameses II is displayed in the open-air museum and the outdoor houses numerous other colossi, statues, sphinxes, and more

Continue to Saqqara, the necropolis for the ancient Egyptian capital, Memphis. Saqqara is home to the Step Pyramid of Djoser, the oldest complete stone building complex known in history, built over 4700 years ago. The Step Pyramid is the first pyramid built in History. Later on, transfer back to your hotel to relax.

Breakfast at your hotel and then met by your Cairo private guide will accompany you to visit the Egyptian Museum, home to the most impressive collection of Egyptian antiquities and Pharaonic treasures in the world. The Museum displays an astonishing number of over 120,000 artefacts including the treasures of the boy pharaoh Tutankhamun. After a fantastic tour, you will enjoy free time at leisure. You will have the chance to visit the Royal Mummies Hall (Extra ticket on spot).

Proceed to the Citadel of Salah El-Din (Saladin), was built in 1176 on a promontory beneath the Muqattam Hills, a setting that made it difficult to attack. You will visit the Mosque of Muhammad Ali, an expansive Turkish-style interior is lit by a beautiful array of lamps suspended from the intricately decorated ceiling built between 1830 and 1848. It is one of the landmarks and attractions that dominates the skyline of Cairo from every angle

Continue to visit old Cairo (Coptic Cairo), one of the most historic sights of Egypt’s early Christian period. Explore the 9th-century Hanging Church contains some beautiful examples of Coptic architecture. The church was built over the Roman gate towers (hence the name – Hanging Church). Then visit the Church of St. Sergius and Bacchus, where local legend says the Virgin Mary, baby Jesus, and family sheltered during King Herod’s massacre of male babies. Afterwards, you will visit Ben Ezra Synagogue, which is said to be built near the spot where the baby Moses was found in the reeds.

Your next stop today will be at the 14th century marketplace of Khan El-Khalili, one of the Arab world’s grandest souks; put your haggling skills to the test and get yourself a bargain souvenir. Later on, transfer to your hotel and free time to relax
