Welcome to Luxor, Egypt. You’ll be met and assisted on arrival at Luxor International Airport, and transferred to your hotel. At hotel, you will be assisted with a smooth check-in and confirm pick-up times for each tour. The rest of the day is free to relax, or if you arrive early you may like to take and optional tour to enjoy a spectacular sound and light show at Karnak temples complex. (Available to book locally on arrival).

Breakfast at your hotel, your Luxor private tour guide will pick your up and drive to the Theban Necropolis in the west bank of the Nile in Luxor. Your first stop will be at the Colossi of Memnon, the only remains of the funerary temple of Pharaoh Amenhotep III (1390–1353 B.C).
Move on to the Valley of the Kings, is one of the most famous archaeological sites in the world. This is a burial ground for the pharaohs and powerful nobles for almost 500 years from 1550 to 1080 B.C. including the tombs of Ramses III, Merneptah, Tuthmosis III, Seti I and more. You will allow to visit three of these tombs. If you want to see more the tomb or the boy king Tutankhamun tomb, you will have to purchase an additional ticket
Proceed to visit the Mortuary Temple of Hatshepsut (1490-1469 B.C) located beneath the towering cliffs at Deir el Bahari. The Temple is unique by its 3 terraces and colonnaded halls. This is one of the most popular sites to visit on the West Bank of Luxor.
Head to visit the Valley of the Nobles, the burial places of some of the powerful courtiers and persons of the ancient city. The beauty of the Nobles tombs and vivid colored scenes provide information about daily life, religious scenes as well as the belief in ancient Egypt.
The tour will continue to the Valley of the Artisans at Deir el-Medina, the place was called Set Maat “The Place of Truth”. It was home to the artisans and workmen responsible for constructing the royal tombs in the Valley of the Kings. You will enjoy exploring the ruins of the settlement of the village, the Ptolemaic temple, dedicated to the goddesses Hathor and Maat. You will visit two of the finest decorated tombs of Sennedjem, Inherkau.
The final stop will be at Medinet Habu Temple, is the best preserved temples in the west bank of Luxor built by king Ramses III. It is decorated with military scenes and texts illustrating the victories of the king, as well as the rituals performed and festivals celebrated. A royal palace was attached at the south of the Temple open forecourt, while priests’ dwellings and administrative units lay on either side of the temple. After finished, you will be transferred back to your Hotel in Luxor and free time to relax.

After breakfast, your tour guide will pick you up from your hotel in Luxor to discover the ancient sites north of Luxor. First, start at Abydos, located 170 km from Luxor.
The memorial temple was built by Seti I and his son Ramses II, the temple of Abydos was dedicated to the God Osiris of the afterlife and resurrection. The temple contains small chapels dedicated to each of the major gods: Horus, Isis, Osiris, Amun-Re, Re-Harakhte, Ptah and also one to Seti himself. At the back of the temple, discover the enigmatic structure known as the Osireon, thought to be the tomb of the god Osiris. After finishing, enjoy free time to explore the temple at leisure
Then return to Dendera Temple is located 70 km north of Luxor. The main temple was dedicated to the goddess Hathor, goddess of love and joy. Discover the widely known Dendera zodiac relief, the crypt which was for keeping cult equipment, archives and magical emblems for the temple’s protection, the Isis Birth House (Mammisi) raised by Nectanebo II and the temple sacred lake. On the rear outside wall of the temple, the scenes showing the massive figure of the famous queen Cleopatra VII and her son by Julius Caesar, Caesarion. Then enjoy free time to explore the temple at leisure
After finished, transfer back to your Luxor hotel in Luxor and free time to relax.

Check out after breakfast and then your tour guide will pick you up and drive to visit the Temple of Karnak complex, the largest ancient religious complex ever built in Egypt. Entering the complex through a ram-headed avenue of sphinxes and uncover a vast array of temples, chapels, Pylons, the great hypostyle hall with 134 columns, the obelisks, the sanctuary of Philip II of Macedon, The Akh Menu of Tuthmosis III and the sacred lake. Then enjoy free time to explore at leisure
Proceed to Luxor Temple, which was once joined to the Temple of Karnak by a three-kilometer long Avenue of Sphinx, a portion of which marks the entrance to the temple. You will enter the temple through the great pylon where two enormous statues of Ramses II still stand, along with a pink granite obelisk (its mate stands in the Place de la Concorde in Paris, France). Drive for almost two hours to Edfu, you will visit the Temple of Edfu dedicated to the falcon headed god, Horus. It is the most complete and the best preserved of all Egyptian temples. The Temple was constructed between 237 and 57 BC.
Move on to Kom ombo located 1.5 Hours south of Edfu, visit the unusual double Temple of Kom-ombo dedicated to both Haroeris the falcon god and Sobek the crocodile god. Enjoy fantastic scene of the ancient Egyptian Calendar, the Medical instruments and more. You will proceed to Aswan and enjoy Lunch at a good quality local restaurant. Later on, transfer to your hotel in Aswan and overnight

Early in the morning, your private guide will collect you from your hotel in Aswan for the 3-hour drive south in a comfortable air-conditioned vehicle for the temples of Abu Simbel, one of the masterpieces of architecture in ancient Egypt.
The complex consists of two rock-cut temples were constructed during the reign of the great Pharaoh Ramses II, in the 13th century BC. The Great Temple is dedicated to Ra-Harakhty, Ptah and Amun-Re, Egypt’s three state deities of the time, and features four large statues of Ramesses II in the facade. The smaller temple is dedicated to the goddess Hathor, personified by Nefertari, Ramesses’s most beloved wive. The entire temple complex was dismantled and rebuilt on an artificial hill made from a domed structure, high above the Aswan High Dam reservoir. Take time to marvel at the exquisite detail as you wander through the temples yourself. Later on, transfer back to your hotel in Aswan

Check out after breakfast and then your tour guide will pick you up to visit the unfinished obelisk. It was ordered by Hatshepsut, the female pharaoh (1490–1470 BC). The obelisk never completed due to a flaw appeared in the stone. If completed it would have measured around 42 m long and would have weighed nearly 1,200 tons. Enjoy a motor boat ride to the Temple of Philae, explore the three principal monuments on the island date from the Pharaonic, Ptolemaic and Roman periods, like the temple of Nectanebo I, the Kiosk of Trajan, the Temple of Hathor and the great Temple of Isis.
Continue to the Aswan high Dam, the world’s largest embankment dam built across the Nile River between 1960 and 1970, to control the Nile flood, and generate hydroelectricity. Later on, transfer to Aswan airport for final departure
