Welcome to Egypt, one of the world’s greatest ancient civilizations. Arrive in Cairo and transfer to your hotel with the remainder of the day at leisure or If you arrive early you may like to take get out and explore the busy streets of this city of contrasts or head out to explore Downtown Cairo and Khan al-Khalili markets. You can also enjoy extra evening dinner cruise on the Nile, or attend the spectacular sound and light show at the pyramids of Giza (both available to book locally on arrival).

Breakfast at your hotel and then your Egyptologist tour guide will accompany you to discover the pyramids of Giza, majestic sight of these enormous structures rising out of the desert is a breathtaking spectacle. Here you have the chance to climb inside one of the pyramids (Extra ticket on spot).
Drive to the pyramids Panoramic Point, where you take in all the pyramids from one spot and also to take a camel ride (additional cost). Drive to visit the interior of the Valley Temple and marvel at the construction. See the Great Sphinx of Giza.
Proceed to Visit Memphis, the capital of Egypt during the Old Kingdom, founded by King Menes. Today, Memphis is an open-air museum highlighted by a giant statue of Ramses II and the Alabaster Sphinx.
Continue to Sakkara, an entire complex built by Imhotep, home of Egypt’s oldest pyramid, the Step Pyramid built in 2650 B.C., the oldest complete stone building complex known in history.
Lunch will serve during the tour. After finished, you will be transferred back to your hotel and free time to relax or opt for an extra tour to visit the pyramids of Giza sound and light show

After breakfast, start to visit the Egyptian Museum, home to the largest collection of ancient Egyptian artifacts, including the spectacular treasures of the boy king Tutankhamen founded in 1922 in his nearly discovered intact tomb in the Valley of the Kings. After a guided tour to the museum’s masterpieces, you will have extra time to explore at leisure. Whilst here, you can visit the museum’s royal mummy hall (Extra ticket on spot).
Proceed to marvel at the highlights of Islamic Cairo, visit Muhammad Ali alabaster Mosque, built between 1828 -1848 AD, and dominate the summit of the Cairo Citadel. Then proceed to visit Coptic Cairo and visit the Hanging Church, Saints Sergius and Bacchus Church and Ben Ezra Synagogue which, according to legend, was built on the site where the baby Moses was found in the reeds. Enjoy lunch before start to explore one of the world’s oldest marketplaces of Khan el-Khalili Bazaar, free time to explore at leisure and then transfer to your hotel and free time to relax.

Early morning, you will be transferred to Cairo airport for your flight from Cairo to Luxor, where you will be met, assist and transfer to explore the impressive Karnak Temple, the largest religious complex in Egypt, dedicated to the principal deity of Luxor Amun-Re, Mut and Khons. Walk along the avenue of Sphinxes, see the awe-inspiring hall of columns and obelisks.
Proceed to visit Luxor temple, located in the city center on the east bank of the Nile. The rear part of the temple built by Amenhotep III, while Ramses II built the entrance with small constructions added by Tutankhamun, Horemheb and Alexander the great. After finished, transfer to check in your Nile Cruise, Lunch and free time to relax on board
Today evening you can opt for an extra tour to attend the sound and light show at Karnak temple

Breakfast on board, today you will cross the River Nile to the west bank to visit the two colossi of Memnon, these giant statues were once flanking the entrance of the ancient Mortuary temple of Amenhotep III (1386 – 1349 BC).
Proceed to visit the Valley of the Kings, the burial place of the new kingdom pharaohs ruled Egypt for almost 500 years, between 1550 to 1080BC. You will enjoy seeing 3 well preserved tombs; there you visit four royal tombs, including the Tomb of Ramses VI, the Tomb of Ramses III, the Tomb of Merenptah. Whilst here, you will have time to visit Tutankhamun tomb (Extra ticket on spot).
Continue to Deir el Bahari to visit the Mortuary Temple of Queen Hatshepsut. The temple is famous by the colonnaded structure, designed and supervised by Senenmut, the royal steward and architect of Hatshepsut, the famous female ruler of Egypt for almost 22 years between 1490-1468 BC.
After finished, transfer back to your Nile cruise. Lunch on board and free time while Cruising to Edfu via Esna.
Note: A spectacular Hot Air Balloon flight over the west bank of the Nile is available this morning (expect an early start to catch sunrise as the balloon rises).

Breakfast on Board, enjoy a return way Horse and Carriage ride to visit the Edfu temple, dedicated to Horus the Falcon headed ancient Egyptian god. Edfu Temple is the best preserved temple on Egypt. The temples was built between 237- 57 BC, during the Greek period in Egypt Here you will visit the famed shrine of the Falcon God Horus.
Afterwards, return to the Cruise boat and leisurely sail upriver, with free time relaxing on the Cruise sundeck and taking in the surrounding sights – desert hills forming a backdrop to lush riverbanks, fishermen casting their nets and farmers working their land, this is living.
Continue sailing to Kom-ombo to see the massive temple shared by the two gods Sobek the Crocodile and Harocies the falcon. It was built during the Greco-Roman period (190 BC – 219 AD). You can also explore the crocodile museum. Return to your Nile Cruise and sail to Aswan.

This early morning, drive for almost 3 hours from Aswan to Abu Simbel, where you’ll explore some magnificent Abu Simbel temples. Built by Ramses II, it was the gateway to Egypt for Southern Africans and its imposing facade clearly delineated the line between what was the Pharaoh’s land and what was not. With the four giant statues of Ramses guarding the Great Temple, carved directly out of the mountain on the west bank of the Nile, this is one of Egypt’s most memorable sights. Return drive your Nile cruise boat in Aswan.
After Lunch on board, start to sail the Nile by the felucca “Traditional boat”, weather permits! Transfer back to your Nile Cruise & overnight. You can also join the optional Nubian Village tour by a motorboat and cruise along the Nile River through the first Cataract to a Nubian village. Along the way, admire sweeping views over the river. Upon arrival, visit a traditional Nubian village in Aswan. Get an insight into the culture, history, and lifestyle of one of Africa’s oldest civilizations. Enjoy a drink at one of the colorful rural houses, nestled amongst the natural scenery. Walk through the local market to get a taste of the unique culture and traditions

Disembarkation after breakfast, your tour guide will pick you up to visit the unfinished obelisk in the granite stone quarry. It is apparently that the Quarrymen abandoned the obelisk as fractures appeared in its sides. However, the unfinished obelisk still attached to bedrock, offering unusual insights into ancient Egyptian stone-working techniques.
Proceed with a motor boat ride to visit Philae Temple Island, the monuments on the Island dates to various eras, extending from the Pharaohs to the Romans. The principal temple dedicated to goddess Isis, other temples and shrines were dedicated to other deities such as Hathor, Imhotep.
Continue to visit Aswan high dam, a rockfill dam built across the Nile in Aswan, constructed between 1960 -1970. The high dam yields enormous benefits to the economy of Egypt.
After finished, transfer to Aswan airport for your flight from Aswan to Cairo. Where you will be met, assist and transfer to your hotel & free time to relax

Your time is free today for some last minute sightseeing or shopping until we transfer you to the airport for your departure flight. If you have an afternoon or evening flight departure, then a half-day tour to learn more about the evolution of pyramid building at Bent Pyramids at Dahshur and the Meidum Pyramids and more of the city this morning. Extra nights in Cairo are also available if you would like to extend your stay
